Pray It Forward is the title of Trinity's intercessory prayer chain. People of all religious backgrounds believe in the power of prayer. As Christians, we have a tradition of praying that dates from the Biblical ages. We often ask God to intercede in our daily lives. Sometimes we do this ourselves; at others, we ask for someone to intercede on our behalf. At other times our prayers are more global and we ask God to bring peace, heal another's illness, bring justice, calm the weather and bring mercy. The power of prayer is immense; all we need to do is ask. God will answer with love. We must be prepared for that response, because it might not be in the way we have envisioned, or in the time frame we expect.
